Turtle Island is a wonderful place of tranquil delight to wind down from the busy world we all live in. It is a privately owned Island some 40mins flight from Nandi by seaplane and is an amazing destination for honeymooners or just a relaxing a holiday even with its flaws. There is space for 14 couples, the bures are very nice indeed particularly the Vonu Point some 500 metres from your nearest neighbour.

All meals and drinks are included with your stay, along with a number of other activities, like fishing, horse-back riding, bike riding, and various other fun activities.

The customer service at Turtle Island is second to none, so friendly and very helpful as the Fijian people generally are.

If you want that Island get away, it is certainly a worthwhile trip.

There are plenty of white sandy beaches and azure lagoons in the pacific-what really makes Turtle Island Resort special is the degree of privacy: With 14 separate powdery white sandy beaches, odds are that you can claim one for yourselves, and spend the day sunning, swimming, and picnicking blissfully alone at this all inclusive resort.

I have yet to visit Tahiti and stay at one of many resorts I booked for honeymoon couples. One of my favorites St Regis Bora Bora resort on the island of Bora Bora.  The Likuliku Lagoon Resort Fiji one of the first overwater bures in Fiji is stunning. We stayed here for few nights in September 2007.The JW Marriot is due to open in 2009.

The wedding for two took place on the beach of the exclusive Wakaya Club, an idyllic island hideaway. My good friends Jane and Jared are scheduled for their first visit to Fiji   They will be staying atTokoriki Island for a few nights. I have been booking this beautiful island for honeymoon couples for a while now. This is one my favorite resort in the Mamanuca Group. The island of Monuriki is only 25 minutes by boat where the famous movie Castaway with Tom Hanks was made. My husband and I stayed in a deluxe beachfront bure that has sliding doors open on to a patio that over looks  the ocean.

My top picks on Tokoriki Island: Sip a cocktail with coconut snack as you watch the sunset at the cocktail bar , take a cool bath filled with plumerias, savor excellent Fijian cuisine

Fiji is famous for its waterfalls and on my trip this became one of the highlights! It was a really hot September day, perfect for a dip in the natural shower and pool:) A honeymoon couple from Seattle joined us for a special lunch picnic organized by the resort. We arrived at the waterfalls in less then 10 minutes from Namale Resort.

There is a picnic table set up and stairway to walk down into the natural pool. It's really neat experience! After swimming and cooling off we left the honeymooners alone with the lunch and a bottle of champagne!

Namale Resort & Spa Fiji is one of the most luxurious and all-inclusive resort. I stayed 2 nights in the honeymoon bure (nanise) built on volcanic pinnacles with a bridge that leads to your own private plunge pool overlooking the Koro Sea. It has one of the most stunning views and to watch the sunrise and sunset here is just pure magical! The gardens are full of beautiful tropical flowers and birds. The resort is owned by the famous inspirational speaker Anthony Robbins. If you want to have a unique and extraordinary experience then I recomend staying here in one of the honeymoon bures.

Sonaisali is only a three minute boat ride across the lagoon from the main island. The dive shop is located at the pier and you will notice this as you are getting off the boat. The golf carts pick you up and drive you to the reception for a easy and relaxing check in process. You recieve welcome lei and tropical fruit juice upon arrival. The rooms are spacious and includes mini bar/fridge, radio,  tv, hair dryer and cofee/tea maker, internet, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The restaurant and lounge area is wide open seating extending to edge of the swimming pool which is open 24 hours! The nightly musical programe is very lively with the limbo contest! Food is international cuisine and menus have been designed to showcase the freshest and best in local produce, with selected delicacies from the pacific region.
